Itxura klasikoko arkitekturen hondoan, irudiak daude. Lehen planoan, Jesus eta deabrua eta, atzealdean, merkatari talde bat. Grabatuak "Ez dituzu inoren ondasunak gutiziatuko" agindu kristauen hamargarrena ilustratzen digu, Jesukristok basamortuan egindako tentazioetako baten pasartearen bidez. Legenda paspartuak estaltzen du, baina testua San Mateoren bertsio ebanjelikora bidaltzen du zuzenean.

Sobre un fondo de arquitecturas de aire clásico se disponen las figuras. En primer plano, Jesús y el diablo y, algo más al fondo, un grupo de mercaderes. El grabado nos ilustra el décimo de los mandamientos cristianos "No codiciarás los bienes ajenos", mediante el pasaje de una de las tentaciones de Jesucristo en el desierto. La leyenda se encuentra tapada por el paspartú, pero su texto remite directamente a la versión evangélica de san Mateo.

The figures are arranged against a background of classical-style architecture. In the foreground, Jesus and the devil, and further in the background, a group of merchants. The engraving illustrates the tenth of the Christian commandments, "You shall not covet your neighbor',s goods," through one of Jesus Christ',s temptations in the desert. The legend is hidden by the mat, but its text refers directly to the Gospel version of Saint Matthew.
