Sobre un fondo oscuro se ha representado el torso desnudo del santo, en edad joven. Tiene los brazos cruzados sobre el pecho y los ojos mirando hacia el cielo, en actitud contemplativa. Lo más destacado es el brillo e intensidad con que la mirada está tratada. En la parte superior, una inscripcioón en letra roja identifica al santo.; en Half-length scene of Saint John the Baptist. Against a dark background, the saint&#39,s naked torso is depicted in his youth. His arms are crossed over his chest and his eyes are looking heavenward, in a contemplative attitude. The most striking feature is the brightness and intensity with which his gaze is rendered. At the top, an inscription in red letters identifies the saint.
