En este dibujo de Aranoa se nos muestra a dos pelotaris en pleno juego de pelota mano. El hombre en primer plano, de espaldas, se dispone a realizar el saque, en tanto que su contrincante, vuelto hacia él, espera para responder. Van vestidos a la manera tradicional, de blanco y con el fajín. Una tercera figura al fondo contempla el juego. La escena está firmada y fechada en la esquina inferior derecha.
